A Few Milestones
1988 - DURA-DOCK founded by Jeff Johnston in Oxford, MD. Located at 202 Bank St, Oxford. Original business was pole docks - docks that were installed using 2" galvanized screwpoles. Pole dock products included docks, duck blind platforms, marsh walkways & observation platforms.
1997 - Jeff retires and the business is sold to Art Maslin.
2000 - Business moved to Easton. Modular Floating Dock Systems were added to the product offering. These were maintenance free, durable and built to last. They could be temporary or permanent, and included swim platforms, kayak launches, SUP launches, rowing docks, PWC docks, dinghy docks, work barges & temporary bridges.
2024 - Art retires and the business sold to current local ownership with a renewed sense of passion and stewardship.
